First aid course for companies
Premedical aid can save a person’s live. If administered correctly it can make a huge difference for the health or even life of accident victims. Before the ambulance arrives every second counts and therefore it is good to know what to do to help an injured person.
Administering first aid is so important that pursuant to the Regulation of the Council of Ministers on OHS regulations every entrepreneur is obliged to appoint a group of employees to participate in a first aid course. The Regulation does not specify the number of people who should be trained but it orders that during every shift there must be at least one employee present able to administer first aid. In this way not only does the employer obey law but also gives their employees a conviction that they are safe and that in case of accident they will get necessary help.
Our company’s offer includes a series of OHS trainings including first aid trainings. Every employee who participates in such a training will get the knowledge of first aid principles and will be able to easily use them in case of an unfortunate event. Our training consists of theory, demonstrations, presentations and practical exercises. The proven form of our training, that is combination of theory and practice allows us to present even the most difficult issues in a very accessible way.
Trainings are conducted by certified trainers from the European Resuscitation Council and Emergency First Response and their participants have the opportunity to practice with professional rescue equipment manufactured by BOXMED such as first-aid kits, dressings, stretchers, orthopaedic collars, etc. Besides, in all practical exercises participants use phantoms and an automated external defibrillator (AED).
Our first aid curriculum is oriented first of all on the development of abilities. Therefore every course participant performs the presented actions individually. The first aid training is 6 hours long and half of that time is devoted to practical exercises. Every training is prepared after consultation with the client and adapted to such client’s individual needs.
